Tuesday 26-09-2006 @ 12.45 hrs. I had accompany Baya into the receiving corridor in between Operation Theatre and waiting area. Baya looks confident and strong.'Don't worry dear..I'll be just outside of the OT..about 20 feet away from you'. " can you please confirm whose signature is this Mr. Ari?" "That's my signature" "Thank you, with your consent we will proceed with the preparation procedure, you may wait for her at the waiting area" With that statement Baya was whisked into the OT. I went back to the ward at level three, the OT is at level two.
After about three hours I had called the nurse station to inquire about Baya's condition "she is still in the OT sir ".at 17.00 hrs.."she is still in the O.T sir.." I had became very suspicious..there might be some complication.."nurse.. can you please confirm her status..had the surgeon completed the procedure..? " "I believe she is O.K sir..maybe resting now.." " it is O.K with what ever you believe nurse..I just need my question answered that's all " " sorry sir the procedure is still on.." " thank you nurse"..
By that time I had to accept the fact there is complication take place in the procedure.I will just keep that info with me..no point in telling the others..tears started to stream down on my cheeks without me realising it..rush of to the toilet to dry up the tears and wash my face..but the redness in the eyes betrayed the news to Shida and Ina.
19.15 hrs. " how is it nurse ?" "The surgeons are nearly at the end part of the procedure sir they expected to tidy up everything and start the closing of the opening procedure about 45 minutes from now" " thank you nurse"
20.30 hrs. Baya was whisked away into the ICU..Allhamdulillah..the critical part is passed now..that's what I believe..actually the situation is not that simple..
Baya open her eyes briskly..the anaesthetic expert working frantically to bring her back..she keep on calling her name.. " Baya..wake up..wake up dear..please Baya..wake up.." " Shida holding back her tears as hard as she can..not even a sigh came out from Shida..so still..Time like been frozen..tears streaming down our cheek.."come Shida my dear..lets get out from the room and let the doctors try their level best without us keeping them under surveillance".
21.00 hrs. " you can come in now sir ".."sir, we had tried our level best..she recovered just now but we had to put her under sedative again..don't worry..the critical part is over.." " she will sleep until the morning.."
15.00HRS 27-09-2006. Baya out from ICU and warded.

Baya gadis comel..anak aku..

Today is Saturday 23-09-2006, tomorrow is first day of Ramadhan..the fasting month..day after tomorrow Baya will be admitted at Seremban Specialist Centre hospital for corrective operation follow up from her previous operation..we are really worried about her condition.On the fourteenth of this month I had accompany her to see doctor Shukor a specialist that had performed her previous operation and from the X-Ray it was noted that two of the Titanium screw had became loose..so she need to have the two screw re position and and at the same time to jack up a bit on the left side of T-5 and clamp down on the right side, this suppose to balance her so that she will be able to stand straight and walk straight..not like a crab.. my concern is she won't be able to bend her body from side to side..bending forward is not a problem.Two new screw to hold the whole assembly to the pelvic bone..she will end up with 17 Titanium screw and two long pieces of Titanium plate about 14 inches long..for sure all this amount of metal will trigger even the grand father of metal detector ! The cost are estimated to be in the region of RM15 K. Sorry my love..I'm trying my level best to give from the best technology available now..for you.I know it is painful and cumbersome, shed no tears dear..life is tough..safe it for some other occasion..we will weather this one through..isyaallah..

Ahad lepas aku di undang untuk mewakili kelab sukan SRC untuk inter oil meets kami, aku cuma perlu ambil bahagian untuk bergu campuran..games kami akan di adakan di Maybank sports complex Bangi.Sudah sangat lama aku tak pernah masuk apa-apa tournament yang serius..ping pong ni pun aku baru mula balik dalam sebulan ini..semasa sessi latihan mingguan pun aku mencungap dengan sangat teruk..aku sangat kekurangan stamina..stroke aku masih bagus walaupun tak tepat dan konsisten macam beberapa tahun dulu..Aku tak nak main single..mans double atau mix double ..o.k lah.. Aku dan Fay tak nak bermalam kat Sunway.. team members yanglain dah berlepas pada hari Sabtu..pagi Ahad @06.30 Fay pick up aku kat depan KFC, 07.45 kami sampai..nak sarapan ..cafeteria tu belum buka lagi..nasib baik juga aku dah sarapan, kesian Fay.."kau pergi cari lah ada kedai dekat -dekat sini.." Fay pergi ngan siapa entah.. First game aku tak diturun kan..kami kalah 3-2..second game untuk placing ke 3-4 aku di turun kan untuk mix double. Keadaan pada masa tu..Fay menang man single. Jun kalah ladys single, Tan kalah second man single, "Ari..kita mesti menang match ini..kalau tidak..habis lah kita.." Aku partner ngan Jun..opponent kami mungkin separuh umur dari aku dan Jun..!Wah..kalau kena rally yang panjang..terjelir aku..! Jun dah main tiga match sebelum ni.."Ari..I dah penat lah.." First set kami kalah, second set kami kalah.. " Ari..wake up man..this is the time to used your 'cari makan ' serve..! " Team captain dah bengang ngan aku nampak nyer..!O.k lah.. Jun tanya.."kenapa Ari..you nervous ker..?" eh..eh..betul gak kan..patut lah gerakan aku macam tegang jer..heh..heh..heh..thank you Jun..rupanyer dah lama tak pernah masuk tournament..nervous kejap..tak perasan pulak tu..! Third set..setiap serve yang aku buat..aku pastikan ada point..setiap serve yang aku terima..aku pastikan ada point..Jun serve..aku buat chop placing jer..point lagi..heh..heh..11-1 opponent aku kena..suka pulak aku..set ke empat..cerita yang sama..cuma kali ni 11-3, set kelima..11-4..kesian budak budak tu..yang lelaki tu..dia punya side spin..mak datuk..power nya..tentu dia sangat panic bila aku chop dan placing kan kat atas line putih hujung meja dan bunuh serve tu..aku serve bola gaya M kucing..kantoi dia..mungkin dia tak pernah tengok gaya tu..sebenarnya hampir siapa saja memang terkena punya kalau dia tak pernah kena gaya M kucing tu..di kampung aku gaya tu tak leh cari makan..ialah..tempat asal dicipta gaya tu..penciptanya.. Harimau anak Kucing..! yang perempuan tu..aggressive sungguh..pantang bola terangkat sikit..mesti attack punyer..! aku serve dia bola gaya 'boing-boing'..panic dia bola nampak floating tinggi..top spin attack..! sangkut net ..smash.. sangkut ..chop..bola belon.. piang..! kena smash..! mati akal dia..! Tapi..apa kan daya..last match..man double kami kalah..geram nya aku..apa mau buat..aku sebenarnya nak main man double..aku memang suka berdepan dengan opponent yang main fast top spin..dah lama tak pakai gaya cobra untuk menangkis serangan top spin dan mengenakan orang..laju spin tu datang..lagi laju return untuk dia..! Tan dan Teo cuba counter topspin dan flick dengan chop..mati lo..Dapat lah team aku tempat tercorot..ha..ha..ha..apa mau buat..sudah tua lo..Kesemua team ada ex state player..tapi antara ex state player tu..Fay lah yang paling tua..54.. Aku..20 tahun dulu..aku lah juara..sikalang..makan loti lo..!
